YALE Smart Indoor Camera

The Yale Smart Indoor Camera is a compact indoor surveillance camera designed for remote monitoring of residential properties through the Yale Home app. It delivers clear 1080p Full HD video with live viewing and motion-triggered recording, while enhanced night vision provides visibility up to 6 metres in low-light conditions. Integrated Wide Dynamic Range technology helps maintain image detail across varying lighting conditions, making the camera suitable for monitoring entrances, living areas, pets and other important areas of the home.

Built-in motion and human detection help provide more relevant notifications by distinguishing human activity from general movement, while customisable detection zones allow selected areas of the image to be monitored more closely. The camera also incorporates a microphone and speaker for full-duplex two-way audio, allowing users to listen and communicate remotely through the Yale Home app. Privacy zones can be configured where required, while the adjustable camera head allows flexible positioning when the unit is placed on a surface or installed using the supplied wall mounting plate.

The Smart Indoor Camera includes built-in local flash storage capable of retaining approximately 2–4 days of recordings without requiring a subscription, depending on recording quality and clip length. Video clips and snapshots can be accessed through the Yale Home app, with optional subscription services available for extended cloud recording and additional AI detection features. The camera connects using 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is continuously powered using the supplied USB-C cable and mains power adaptor.
