YALE Smart Outdoor Camera

The Yale Smart Outdoor Camera is a wireless outdoor security camera designed to provide flexible, app controlled surveillance around residential properties. It delivers clear 1080p Full HD video with a wide 154° viewing angle, helping to cover entrances, driveways and other external areas with a single camera. Wide Dynamic Range technology assists with image clarity in challenging lighting conditions, while the integrated spotlight and enhanced 6 metre colour night vision provide improved visibility after dark.

Designed for convenient installation, the camera incorporates a 6500mAh rechargeable battery, providing approximately 4–6 months of operation depending on usage and configuration. Alternatively, it can be connected to a continuous USB-C power supply using suitable optional accessories. Its IP65 weather-resistant construction makes it suitable for outdoor installation, while built-in human detection, motion detection and customisable detection zones help reduce unnecessary notifications. An integrated siren and spotlight can also be activated to provide an additional visual and audible deterrent.

The camera connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and is managed through the Yale Home app, allowing users to view live footage, receive motion notifications and communicate using the integrated two-way audio function. Recordings can be stored locally within the camera, providing approximately 2–4 days of footage without a subscription, with optional cloud recording services also available. Additional functions include privacy zones, snapshots and up to 8x digital zoom, allowing specific areas or subjects within live and recorded footage to be examined more closely.
